Chinati Vergano

It is a SUPREME pleasure to welcome the devilishly delicious, complex, balanced, and unique elixirs of Chinati Vergano! The seed of GWI’s first aperitif and digestif producer was planted by chemist Mauro Vergano experiments for friends in the 1970s. Today second-generation makers, and nephews of Mauro, Tomasso and Pietro create small batches out of a teeny facility in the backstreets of Asti, Piemonte. Since 2003, these earthly delights have been made from a base of natural wine sourced from many of our grape-growing heroes infused with carefully chosen, regionally significant and internationally treasured botanicals, herbs, citrus & spices. One of the most exciting aspects of this project is that while other aperitif makers have one recipe, theirs fluctuates year to year based on the season, producing expressive bottles of place and time. We were blown away by our first tasting, and are so excited to bring this limited release to you #viniaromatizzatiFOREVER
