[lights dim, beat drops] iconic Sangiovese appears in all of their resplendent glory to turn the party right-side up. 2012 was hot & dry for the old 50 year old vines, providing a rich concentration but reducing already-low yields so only a single, 26 hL barrel of this wine was produced that year, making this a sneaky ultra-rare pleasure! Naturally fermented in concrete vats & aged for three years in old Slavonian oak, we’re talking a full, earthy Tuscan red with personality here — dark red fruit in oxblood leather pants with a whiff of Cuban cigar box, cracked black pepper & fresh earth from the garden where they were no doubt tending to tomatoes. For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
