Finnish-Dutch winemaker Philip Lardot works with as little manipulations as possible, in a regal region that is not for the faint-hearted. From a teeny, 0.2 hectare plot resting on a STEEP slope in the famous Mosel town of Piesport. FUN FACT! Near Philip's house is the world's steepest vineyard, the Bremmer Calmont, which is essentially a full on CLIFF with vines growing from it. These zingy riesling vines are roughly 30 years old, grown by a protege & really come out swingin’! Warmed pear, mouthwatering citrus jumble, gauzy apple skins, ginger cream, wet stones, underripe apricot & dried herbs. Enjoy after a nice afternoon of indoor bouldering, so you can feel like a Mosel grape too!
