Cool, clean and vivid, like a mist of sea spray or jumping feet first into a freshwater lake, Soif d’Ailleurs is made from a manually-harvested field blend of all the Southern French red AND white grapes. Everyone’s invited to the party! The grapes are co-pressed in entire bunches for further team-building & group bonding, then co-fermented in concrete vats with no fining, no filtration, and very minimal sulphites. Though it looks like more of a dark rosé or light red in colour, texturally it is reminiscent of a white wine, crystalline & sleek on the palate. Flavour-wise it makes us think of the Shirley Temple/Hawaiian Punch concoction of our childhood dreams! Tropical nectarine grenadine explosion, bright pink flower emoji, mischievous purple devil face emoji, girls’ trip to Vegas or Miami, poolside cocktails with fluorescent paper umbrellas. Drink with a decisive chill, make some questionable decisions, let loose & never look back.
