Bianka and Daniel Schmitt are two talented young winemakers working with biodynamic practices in the Rheinhessen region of Germany. Together they manage the 16 hectare demeter certified estate which has been in Daniel's family for over 200 years. A finger-licking blend of boisterous merlot, cherried st. laurent, grandparent-esque portugieser, brambly blaufränkisch & cream of the crop spätburgunder (aka pinot noir). Pop Rock tingles on the tip of the tongue, musky wilderness, brambly raspberries, dark forest of coniferous wood, tart and firm willed, with summery cherry breezes & a current of red currants washing us downstream. Chill it down and enjoy the 1 litre format with floral printed everything & waterproof footwear.
