An uber-textured, zero-zero and iconic Austrian skin contact we receive in teeny-tiny allocations availabe for the first time in years. The ceaselessly elegant, eloquent and earthly offerings from the Tscheppe’s are like a rare species of bird, we would keep our binoculars set on the tree-line in search of them for years just to catch a glimpse. Committing to biodynamic techniques many moons ago, the romantic vineyards exclusively grow sauvignon blanc, welshriesling and morillon, the local name for chardonnay, which share in their good fortune with fruit trees, herbs, vegetables and lush forest. FUN FACT! Their lineup is bottled in accordance to elevation and soil type to give us a real TASTE of their site specific terroirs! Coming to us from 2021, the 50/50 blend of lusty n’ rock-y morillon and citric n’ green sauvy b was grown on the ‘Ex Vero II’ plot (middle elevation, with a more even mixture of both opok - very chalky - and clay soils), fully destemmed before two weeks on skins and a gentle press, emerging as ‘Glück’, meaning “luck” or “happiness”, after two years in soothing barrels. Sugar cookies with white cherry pieces, scrubby herbs, persimmon filled croissant, silken tofu pudding texture, pineapple and pear in their own juices, basil off in the distance & bow rosin. Hold onto for good luck, or drink tonight and make a wish as you open.

We don't know if you've heard this, but Canada is a truly WILD place to import wine. Each province is it's own country with super strict rules. For ages, so much of the very best natural wine never made it into the province. That is changing in such an exciting way. We started our own import company to bring you some of our very favourite wines from around the world at the sharpest prices - this allows us to travel, fall in love with a wine, and bring right to your doorstep without a middle person. Put simply, as the importer, we shave one layer off the supply chain. We offer these sweet wholesale discounts when you bundle. From 1, 3 to 6 packs you'll find serious savings. The GWI sticker - Grape Witch Imports - means not only that we strongly stand behind the producer, it also means you won't find a better deal anywhere else in town. It also allows us to source many wines just for the shop - you'll find Ontario exclusives marked GWIE - Grape Witch Import Exclusive. Are you a licensee or producer looking to join our imports roster? Send us an email at hello@grapewitchimports.com
