We’re honoured to have a legend in our midst, a true rarity from Stephanie and Eduard Tscheppe. Mechthild is the matriarch, a soft & textured white blend with a touch of skin contact that, along with Bertholdi, represent the grandparents of the Gut Oggau family of wines. This is a beguiling, peach-hued study in sophistication with a smart wise-crack thrown in every now and again. Mechthild has a subtly exotic whiff, like someone who travelled the world before settling into a house across from the theatre and throwing the grandest dinner parties that little town ever saw. Generous and plush with a distinct orange pekoe tannin, notes of white tea, white peach, white cherry & apricot fuzz with a touch of macadamia nut and plush jasmine flowers. Completely modern but timeless and classic, like iced peach tea on a white veranda. Pair with fancy afternoon lunches, frilly little doilies & calf-length dress made of white lace.

For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
*Although we will always do our best to offer free shipping when possible, customers in especially remote locations may be contacted for additional delivery fees.
