A crisp & crystalline zero-zero Alsatian riesling to fulfill all your riesling fantasies (we know you have them!). Mathilde and Florian Beck-Hartweg are gifted young winemakers from an Alsatian dynasty, practicing organic farming in a tiny, medieval-looking town that we’d gladly retire in. FUN FACT! Beck-Hartweg is one of THE historic domaines of Alsace, tracing their lineage back to the early 16th century! The 30-year-old vines are grown in granite, and see a long and sloooww direct press before 10 months in old oak casks emerging elegant and bursting with minerality. Pink lady apple + apple blossoms, mineral baths, lemon sorbet, spearmint leaf squish, flint, lil bubbles that drag up a salty rocky-ness as if from the bottom of a deep crevice & pearlescent roundness that leaves the gentlest peach essence in your mouth. Enjoy while watching The Handmaiden (2016), no snacks allowed, but sips permitted, so as not to miss any of the rousing dialogue!
