White Field Blend | We’re honoured to have a legend in our midst, a true rarity from Stephanie and Eduard Tscheppe. Mechthild is the matriarch, a soft & textured white blend with a touch of skin contact that, along with Bertholdi, represent the grandparents of the Gut Oggau family of wines. This is a beguiling, peach-hued study in sophistication with a smart wise-crack thrown in every now and again. Mechthild has a subtly exotic whiff, like someone who travelled the world before settling into a house across from the theatre and throwing the grandest dinner parties that little town ever saw. Generous and plush with a distinct orange pekoe tannin, notes of white tea, white peach, white cherry & apricot fuzz with a touch of macadamia nut and plush jasmine flowers. Completely modern but timeless and classic, like iced peach tea on a white veranda. Pair with fancy afternoon lunches, frilly little doilies & calf-length dress made of white lace.

Red Field Blend | A truly special, one-of-a-kind cuvée from the shining stars of the natural wine world, Stephanie and Eduard Tscheppe. Bertholdi is the old man of the Gut Oggau family, who along with Mechthild, must’ve been quite amused watching their progeny of fiercely willed children-wines (and their lovers) change the world forever. This is a finely wrought red field blend that feels historic and immense, the product of many challenging years met with even more rewarding memories. Generous and warm, Bertholdi could regale us with stories all night long of travels in far-flung locales and once-in-a-lifetime experiences in the unlikeliest of places and we’d listen intently and maybe even record it because it’s THAT special to us. Yawning depth and concentration meet savoury smoked meats, dark aromatic spice and freshly toasted cedar. Made without fining, filtration or added sulphur. Notes of cherry pit, pine needle, pine nut, wine-soaked prune & wet earth sit atop a deft, elegant palate, one of those slights of hand that takes years to perfect but is done with such calm efficiency, you wonder if anyone else will ever be able to replicate it. Pair with fantasies by candlelight, 4 AM heart-to-hearts and emotional breakthroughs over soul-stirring wines like this.

Delivery:
For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays. 

If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.

For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.

We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
