In stuffy wine circles, Pinot Noir is known as the heartbreak grape - notoriously hard to grow and breathtaking when done well. Its elusive charm and promise of perfection has carried it all over the world, making it the 6th most planted grape variety the world over. It’s no surprise then, to find an ambitious, young producer working with Pinot Noir, along with other regional grapes, on the shores of Lake Balaton in central Hungary. Istvan Bencze’s vineyards are biodynamic and his methods are entirely natural. This is Bencze’s top-of-the-line Pinot Noir. Layered in both wine-making techniques (50% whole bunch pressed, 50% semi-carbonic - ask us more about these nerdy deets) and complexity, the Atlas Pinot Noir casts a spell on your soul. Juicy, red-berried fruit with rose and sandalwood tones but not so precious you wouldn’t drink it every day if you could. Bencze reminds us to never stop praying at the altar of Pinot Noir.

Delivery:
For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
*Although we will always do our best to offer free shipping when possible, customers in especially remote locations may be contacted for additional delivery fees.
