This is the 240 year old playground of the Kelhar family, where they are able to grow spectacular regional grapes along with familiar varieties to produce wines that can only be from this spooky valley in south-eastern Slovenia. The Mario Natur Pet Nat is a perfect example: regional grape Rumeni plavec is blended with our old pal Chardonnay to give you a bone-dry, yellow-fruited yeasty dream. It smells like spring morning dew and tastes like biting into a golden delicious apple, followed by a swig of dry, crunchy and mineral-packed natural spring water.
