The familial team at Movia believe that, “wine is the second most important drink that a person consumes”, say no more we’re IN! With an impressive history dating back to the early 18th century, today the estate extends over 30 hectares, spread across both the famed Slovenian, Goriska Brda region, and the equally revered Italian side, Collio. The organically tended, 30 year old fruit forward, mineral dense malvasia vines are a powerful experience. Hand picked, grapes spend 60 hours cold macerating, eight months in oak and another 3-4 in bottle settling into their new skin. Amber toned, with tumbling white peaches, ripe gooseberry sublimity, dandelion + chamomile patch, wild beehive, salted caramel, vanilla marzipan & lemon zest on yoghurt. Enjoy with baked wild salmon, decked out in herbs and slathered in the best olive oil.
