The Naked Red features a plot in conversion to organic, the light rotburger, dense blaufränkisch and floral st. laurent come from both sides of the famed Lake Neusiedl, and are macerate. . .

Gernot and Heike Heinrich’s 100+ hectares are farmed (certified) biodynamically in the municipality of Gols, Burgenland. The Naked Red features a plot in conversion to organic, the light rotburger, dense blaufränkisch and floral st. laurent come from both sides of the famed Lake Neusiedl, and are macerated for two weeks. On the west side, vines are rooted in the limestone and schist-riddled Leitha Mountain slopes, while on the east side, grapes rest in gravelly and humus-rich soils – together they bring variation and ultimately balance to the final blend. Crunchy blackcurrant, roadside cherries, pencil shaving glitter, cassis, thyme infused balsamic & sticky tannins. Enjoy with Spätzle!.
