The late and great Taras Ochota was all about wines that “pop in your mouth,” perhaps best embodied by this aromatic, fuchsia-toned firecracker of a Gewurtz! From a shining star of Southern Australia’s natural scene, Ochota Barrels has become one of the most coveted names abroad, known for their lifted, cool climate wines with a distinct rock ’n roll sensibility. The grapes were picked from a single vineyard at varying stages of ripeness – some ripe and juicy, others lean and crunchy – to refract every facet of this fragrant, multi-dimensional grape, followed by a direct press into neutral French oak, then bottled with minimal sulphur and no fining or filtration. Dry, oily and nutty, almost like orgeat – the nutty syrup used in tiki cocktails –deserving of a tiny cocktail umbrella. Lychee gummy, Meyer lemon, lime pith, jasmine flower and manuka honey with a lemongrass tint and a smart, flinty-floral finish. Pair with making friends and making out in the mosh pit.

Delivery:
For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
