Michi’s Farm is winemaker Mitchel Gindl’s negotiant project (meaning grapes are grown by someone else, but fermented by Michael), where he works with other local farmers practicing organic & biodynamic techniques. This family farm goes back to the beginning of the 19th century, and is located on the outskirts of a dense oak forest in Michael's childhood town of Hohenruppersdorf – a small village to the east, near Slovakia. Made predominantly from Austria’s most important grape – the lean and herbaceous grüner-veltliner that shines with texture. After a few weeks of all the grapes on skins, everything starts to sing sweet floral songs & with extended lees aging we get a tender & luxe mouthfeel. Honeysuckle at night, jasmine vines, apricot basket, crisp gooseberry, gravelly undertones & cleansing acidity. Drink while playing spike ball in the park with your athletic friends.
