PRODUCER EDUCTION HOUR ALERT! Explore natural Piemonte with us next Thursday as we welcome FORTH generation wine-pro Simone Cellario (they/them) to the space. You may recognize Simone as one of the stars of the GW patio and beyond, as they're been living in Toronto, finishing their sociology degree, hosting beloved educational events, and charming anyone in their path. They're moving away, and we couldn't let them leave without sharing their unstoppable energy, and delicious wines with you! 

Simone is a force, hailing from the world-famous Langhe hills, in northern Italy where they grew up on the family farm, Poderi Cellario. As the first child of Fausto and Cinzia Cellario, third-generation winemakers who were amongst the first to implement biodynamic practices in this region, Simone has been immersed in the natural wine world since they were born, and it shows. 

Their spark-plug passion for the philosphy and vision of natural wine in a very traditionally classic place is electric. We can't wait to welcome them to our space, tasting through 5 of their family wines as we talk Piemonte through a natural lens, the Cellario project, how wine and sociology meet, and what they're most excited about next.
