As hauntingly beautiful as a cold shiver of deja vu with a fascinating stranger. For more than 200 years, Conestabile della Staffa has been producing some of the finest wines in the region, no question. Taking over in the early 2000s, Alessandra Conestabile’s husband, Danilo Marcucci is now head winemaker, and lives by the philosophy, "No chemistry in the vineyard, no technology in the cellar, natural wine”. Situated on the outskirts of Montemelino in Umbria, the vineyards extend over twelve hectares, with Lake Trasimeno close by with an undeniable influence on the climate and the grapes. A blend of cheek-puckering, earthy sangiovese (40%), local, lush and bitter sagrantino (40%) & light, herbaceous canaiolo (20%). FUN FACT! Sangiovese is derived from the Latin sanguis Jovis, or "the blood of Jupiter”! Sounds like a cult we’d consider joining. Strawberries n’ pepper, gunpowder, vegetal verve, cherry nyquil, oregano, black olive powder, bitterly playful & salty ocean spray minerals. Enjoy with beef and foie gras on a toothpick.

For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
