A citric, curiously complex and mineral Champagne from GWI’s SECOND Champagne producer! Timothée Stroebel works in the northern premier cru village of Villes Allerand, cultivating the vines his grandfather planted in the 1960s and turning them into some of the most exciting Champagnes and Coteaux Champenois the world has ever known. Working with his land’s natural rhythms and the prosperity of its inhabitants as top priority, we couldn’t be more impressed, and one of our favourite quotes from him states, “When I walk amongst my vines, feet treading on the earth, I can see, hear and feel everything alive moving”. The organic blend of 55 year-old pinot noir, pinot meunier and chardonnay comes from the 2019, 2020 and 2021 harvests, which spent 36 months in bottle coming together through time and space. Spring flowers, desiccated pink lady apple, freeze dried raspberry acid meets sugar cube, green green grass, arrowroot cookie, chalky hands & an icicle.. Enjoy with the most special and stinky cheeses, shared amongst your friends who prefer to walk a little on the wild and wonderful side.
