For the first time in Ontario, welcome Wein Goutte and their one of a kind herbaceous and mineral still apple wine that tastes just like that, a savoury, interesting wine made from apples. Chefs turned winemakers, Emily Campeau and Christoph Müller are originally from Montreal and Germany respectively, and now tend to their four hectares of pristine polyculture property in Franken. In 2022 the apples on their farm all dried and fell due to the regions intense lack of water #RIP, and Christoph’s brother Felix came to the rescue, bringing them apples from his organic trees in Württemberg. Silk sheets, plantain, apple skins, multi-mint toothpaste, flinty coils & raw oyster minerality. Enjoy with veggie centric dishes, think zucchini, peas and green tomato!
