Here for a goutte time and a long time! Retired chefs, Emily Campeau and Christoph Müller are originally from Montreal and Germany respectively, developing their own vinous knowledge through sommelier, viticulture and oenology schooling before meeting in 2018. After some moving, trial and error, they are now four years into their stunning, surging, organic polyculture farm, shepherding cows, grains & vines! Their almost ingredient-like handling composes wines and ciders of food CRAVING excellence, singularly hatched from the carefully tended, both beloved and lesser known German grapes, while their vermouth recipes are written by the land, differing each year, whittled into existence from homegrown and locally foraged botanicals, combined with their own schnapps for a deeply authentic ‘schnappshot’ of each growing season. We are beyond privileged to be able to bring theses peppy, gustatory wines to Ontario for the very first time, welcome to the GW family WG!
