Tomasso and Pietro Vergano are second-generation makers, creating small batches of balanced and unique elixirs out of a teeny facility in the backstreets of Asti, Piemonte. These earthly delights have been made from a base of natural wine sourced from many of our grape-growing heroes, and infused with carefully chosen, regionally significant and internationally treasured botanicals, herbs, citrus & spices. Originally concocted as a cure for malaria by Dr. Pasquale Massagli in a pharmacy in Lucca in 1855, the recipe for ‘Elixir China’ includes herbs, spices, citrus peel, vanilla and a base of China Calisaya and China Succirubra bark. FUN FACT! China is the Italian word for Cinchona, the evergreen South American tree that is a source of top note quinine and other medicinal alkaloids! Enjoy mixed into the most rearing Ferrari you’ve ever shot, or alone as a digestive while reading Stanley Tucci’s What I Ate In One Year. #viniaromatizzatiFOREVER

For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
*Although we will always do our best to offer free shipping when possible, customers in especially remote locations may be contacted for additional delivery fees.
