An exciting part of the SWEEP of new, devoted natural Itata Valley producers, La Basilona was born in 2021. With the goal of creating delicious and true-to-terroir wines from happy n’ healthy grapes, their vineyards of regional vines are tended to organically and without machinery, while in the cellar the wines are made in a committed zero-zero fashion. Their focus lies specifically on país, moscatel and cinsault vines, both grown by themselves as well as by trusted local producers, and shown in a quaffable, compelling and honest way. FUN FACT! They also make their own fire-cooked “wild beer”, made with mineral-dense spring water, chemical-free field fruits & raw honey.
