Weingut Ziniel
Lively, young winemaker Andreas Ziniel pilots this free spirited and organically kept winery in Burgenland, right beside the border of Hungary. Here at the lowest point in Austria, with their 360 degree panoramic views and 180 degrees of tepid sky, they say they are, “completely at peace in the centre of the universe” - WOW. Spread over 18 hectares, the Ziniel vineyards are guided by minimal intervention, leaving the ample flora and fauna to flourish alongside their crop. Andreas’s focus rests on emphasizing individual grape character and place of origin, with a dangerously drinkable edge (and plentiful litre format cuvées!). Self described as down-to-earth, stubborn & distinctive, we couldn’t agree more, and are so excited to represent the Ziniel lineup!
