From New York state’s Hudson Valley, meet the fiercely farm-forward Wild Arc! An exciting project that began in 2016 when couple Crystal and Todd decided to try their hand at farming after a combined 30 years residing in New York. Self-dubbed an experiment in regenerative permaculture and viticulture, they are a ten acre biodynamic farm, operating with open hearts and seriously tasty offerings. They believe that the area’s granitic soils, coupled with the influence of the Atlantic Ocean and Catskills creates a unique microclimate conducive to world-class wine production. While waiting to harvest fruit from their young home vineyard, they have been partnering with local growers to help develop a biointensive vineyard management program that can work in tandem with northeastern climate fluctuations. FUN FACT! The Hudson Valley is home to both the oldest and the longest continually operating wineries in the USA!
